Polymer Clay Artist

James Lloyd Jenkins

One of a kind polymer clay artwork.

About James

Biography

James was born in Panama. Ancon, Canal Zone on June 1st 1968. James moved often as a child eventually landing in El Paso, TX when he was 16. After highschool in El Paso James joined the US Army and received an honorable discharge at the conclusion of the Gulf war in 1991.

James currently lives in Phoenix, Arizona and works primarily within the polymer clay medium. This particular medium allows him not only to sculpt, but to “paint”‘ with the clay. When his creations were dubbed “synthetic offspring” by a collector, James became

Clay DADDY!!

In addition to his synthetic offspring James has two children. Anthony lives in Montana and Virginia lives in Utah. Both of them are really awesome people.

His extraordinary use of the Millefiori techniques are best represented by his 3 dimensional mosaics, however, he also creates mythical creatures and characters and occasionally even caricatures incorporating the technique.

His work is always one-of-a-kind.

Chewie, his loyal miniature poodle is his constant companion and muse.

Also James collaborates with his wife Sue on One Of A Kind Art Dolls.
